Christmas Program

It appears as thought Brooks has found his calling. Sunday afternoon was the Christmas program for Little Red Schoolhouse. We had been to Denver but had to hustle back so Brooks didn't miss his show. We woke up to terrible weather in Denver and had to get on the road so we could allow plenty of time. As it turned out we needed the time, we had snow the entire way and it took us over 6 hours for a drive that usually takes 4. Brooks did have a cute Christmas outfit but we had to go strait to the program with no time to change. The way I see it is at least what he had on was clean.
Brooks and his friends. He really likes and plays with Hannah in the red dress with a white collar, Lhotse in the next red dress, and Porter on the far right with the tie.

Brooks was not worried, nervous, or shy at all. He just stood up there and sang out.
On one particular song he had to start the second verse, and by himself, he did it without blinking an eye. He had learned and did all of the motions and arm movements, he was very serious about this performance. He did great. Everyone came up to me to tell me what a great job he had done. Mike took some video, I guess it is time to learn how to download the video to the blog!
Ty wanted no part of performing for all the people at the program. Ty was not the only one crying. Most all of his group ended up upset. Actually Ty had calmed down but then got unhappy again when everyone else was crying.
Trying to pull it together

They finally just let him off the stage when it became clear he would not settle down enough to sing.

In the end only 3 kids from Ty's group stayed on stage and kind of sang.
Poor baby..........At least we know he does not have a future in the performing arts.

Brooks, Mimi & Grandpa are so proud of you! Looks like you were really enjoying your program and doing a good job performing! Ty, Mimi & Grandpa are proud of you too, just getting on stage was amazing for you! Ty, Aunt Michele never liked performing either especially at your age. But Daddy was a little performer and loved his programs at school! Miss you all so much! Hugs & Kisses. Love Mimi Anna
