Punkin' Time

What is it about children and pumpkins. I think all kids love carving pumpkins. These are our attempts at pumpkins this year. Brooks' is the 'scary' one on the left, Ty's is the happy one on the right. No comments on the craftsmanship--our boys are still little.Nice mugs! Act like you care guys.
I love the look/smile on Ty's face. It is horrible of the other 2 boys, but Ty looks so funny.
I use a setting on my new camera to get this picture. I had to figure how to turn all the auto stuff off to get this "spoooooooky pic"

Cooper's first day of school

I started my new job at Teeny Red Schoolhouse (the toddler center of Little Red Schoolhouse) so Cooper got to have his first day of school.Cooper was very proud with his lunchbox like his big brothers. (thanks for the new lunchbox Grandpa)

Mike said he looks like a man child in the little seat.He was with the right age kids, he is just that much bigger. I think he will move up soon being the youngest of 3 boys he was a little tough (and rough) for the smaller kids

The boys all did great. Brooks and Ty now have a full day instead of half--and Cooper adjusting to school and a group setting. I was exhausted. It had been a long time since I had worked at Cradle to Crayons, and even longer since I had worked in a classroom with kids. I wasn't sure I could make it long enough to get the boys in bed before I dropped. Thank goodness Mike saved me and made dinner for us!

OUCH!

The hazards of being one and a half (and clumsy). Cooper was playing and fell into a shelf.
Mike just knew he was going to come up bleeding. We all know that moment of panic when you are waiting to see if you are making a trip to the er. Yea no blood. We still don't know how it didn't pop open.

Disney World Pt 2

While we were riding Dumbo Ty and Mike went to play in the fountains.
Ty thought it was great until he really got wet. Then he was upset because he had to wear wet shorts.

When we were ready to leave they were having a main street parade so we were trapped. Mimi got her boys lolly pops and they loved them!






Ty was so tired, I didn't realize he was this tired! Disney really takes it out of you.

You'll notice Ty really has good hair for the Florida humidity. His hair was sooooo curly all week

Can we please go home now?

Disney World Pt 1

Wouldn't be a trip to Florida without a morning at Disney World. We would go and stay longer, but as little as the boys are there are not up to the long full day.

For the first time this year Cooper got to come too. His first time on Dumbo--with Mimi

unfortunately they make the kids ride on the inside, so it is hard to get pics of them on the ride. (Ty wouldn't ride, don't know why, so he stayed back with Mike


Brooks dreaming about riding Space Mountain. Mimi was nice enough to stay with the boys so Mike and I could ride. We almost took Brooks with us, but we didn't want to traumatize him!

The "real" Buzz Lightyear. We stood in line to have our pictures taken with him and everyone chickened out! Ty liked him the best--but not enough to get close for a picturewaiting for the 3-D show. It is great to watch how the boys try to touch the objects that appear to come at them. Cooper reached out at most everything.

Cooper loved the glasses. While we were in line Cooper would put them on and then roar. I guess he thought they made him toughThis is fun Cooper, you don't look like a kid at "the happiest place on earth"(actually he was really hot and quite overwhelmed by all there was to see!)
