Ha Ha Ha Ha

Brooks loves music as much as I do. I often play music throughout the house while doing the dishes, laundry, etc. Pretty much if the tv is not on the radio is. Brooks has now taken to singing the lyrics with me while we work and play. Today the song "Say" by John Mayer came on and Brooks was singing along but a little off. The song goes "say what you need to say, say what you need to say" Brooks version; sandwich you need to say, sandwich you need to say. I shot Mike a glance and we both cracked up, but without Brooks knowing we were laughing at him. It is so funny how his little brain works.

Silly Faces

no one does "stink eye" quite as good as Ty. He has a very natural frown

Pictures from the Park

I always think pictures at the park will be great, and then they never turn out that good. The kids never want to stop long enough for a picture moment. Yes, Cooper does have more than one shirt. I just realized he was wearing the same shirt in the post I did yesterday.
They do love to swing.

The slide threw Ty off the end every time....but he kept coming back for more.

Swinging at the Park

Just wanted to share this little video of the boys. It is kind of dizzying and a little hard to listen to with the wind blowing in the camera. This is the park in Gunnison. Our parks are still under snow and we are expecting another 8 to 18 inches tonight.

More Pictures From the Museum

Here we are continuing the quest for a picture of everyone looking at the camera.

on the wolf sculptures out front.

Cooper being the ever cooperative 2 year old wouldn't even come to the shoot. He was too busy throwing rocks.

do they look like they are having fun?

Ty and the flying squirrel

showing how he learned his technique
Cooper touching everything he could find to touch--what do these buttons do?
Brooks docking the space shuttle in the space center
I wish these pictures were better, but Brooks was looking at an infrared picture of his body

it was really cool watching him try to figure this out.
We had a really fun morning at the museum--i am sure the boys will be asking to go back as soon as we are back in Denver.

A Day at the Museum

Brooks was really wanting to go to the museum. So we made a point to spend a morning at the museum of nature and science. I think Ty was afraid something was going on behind him :)
There is something really neat about dinosaurs when you are 4.
This was neat. A place to see how big some of the dinosaurs really were. It helped Brooks have a real visual for their actual size instead of just reading about how big they are.

You can see Brooks saying "Cooper pushed me"
Ty moving in on Cooper's picture again
Ty finally smiling--after I had just fussed at him for NEVER looking at the camera.
Cooper loved this part. It was like the nail board that you press your hand against and it makes an imprint. Very tactile for him.
a slide inside.
this area is still a little under construction, but they had fun none the less.
Brooks was suppose to put his hand in and try to guess what he was feeling, but it was not really his style. He is not a risk taker
it is so fun watching them explore
Cooper playing in the hands on kids area.
we had a great morning as a family at the museum!

I have more pictures and will post a part 2 when I have time.>
