When we got to town the streets were already packed with people waiting for the parade. We were almost an hour early and had some trouble finding a spot. We finally found a spot with our friends the Washburns and they had plenty of room. Brooks and Ty were excited to watch the parade with Porter.
All lined up and ready for a parade!
Cooper not cooperating. I do not think it is an accident cooper's name starts the word cooperating--it is not one of his strong points.
There is something so sweet about a child watching a parade. This year Ty was very into the whole parade scene. He was waving and collecting candy as fast as he could.
(the super hero in the background is Ty's friend Peter)
Cooper was not into getting the candy, he was just into eating it. He was eating all the candy the boys were gathering. I think he had eaten his weight in candy when we left for home.
It was great to have my folks here for the 4th.
A perfect July day for a parade in a small mountain town!
