Brooks had been dying to ride the bus to school. Both Mike and I had been nervous about sending him on the bus (just nervous parent stuff). We had some trouble with the timing because he has to be ready so much earlier than if Mike takes him, but finally Thursday it all came together and he got to ride the bus!
This is Brooks' friend Rowen who gets on at the same stop as Brooks. At the next stop 3 more kids in his class join them. All told 6 kids out of his class of 14 ride the same bus. Brooks' good friend Porter and his big sister Catherine are already on the bus when Brooks gets on so we knew Catherine would look out for Brooks once he got to school.
And away they go, it was a big step for Mike and I but Brooks handled it like a pro!
