Hiking the Caves

When my Mom brought Evan up to Crested Butte Brooks was not going to let them miss hiking the caves. Evan is very interested in rocks and crystals so this sounded great to him.

It is quite a hike, and it was very warm, but everyone did great.

Brooks and Evan went clear up into the caves, we waited for them at the opening. (it is very steep and rocky)

Mimi deciding she would just stay, rather than navigate back down the high & steep trail........

Coming down Brooks decided he was done. He had slipped a few times and didn't want to go any further. Instead of moving aside he just stopped right in the trail.
We had a great hike and Brooks was so glad to share the caves with Evan and Mimi.
