No More Tonsils

Brooks is now tonsil free! We ended up having to spend the night at the hospital as Brooks had trouble shaking the anesthesia and was having problems keeping his oxygen level up where it needed to be. He was very sad to have to stay in the hospital as he was not planning on it. They discharged us first thing this morning as he did great overnight with no additional problems. I got some pictures of the day that I will post when time allows. We are now at my moms for a few days for Brooks to recuperate and for her to help me with the little boys.

Extra Prayers for Brooks.......

Tomorrow is Brooks' surgery. We are due at the hospital at 8 with surgery scheduled for 10. Of course both Mike and I are a total wreck. Brooks is a little worried, but doesn't really know what to expect. All he is looking forward to is the popsicles. I will post with an update as soon as time allows.

Family Picture

Our friends Taylor and Kaitlin were in Crested Butte this weekend and Sunday we met for breakfast. Just by chance Kaitlin pulled out her camera and we got this great snapshot while waiting for our table at McGills. Not the best of Cooper and Ty, but I still think it is good. Notice we all have sweatshirts on..............it is turning fall in Crested Butte!

A year and a half

Sweet baby Cooper is one and a half today. I can't believe how fast this past 6 months has gone. It seems like we just had his birthday. He is more and more toddler everyday, and less baby.

Rubber Duckie Race

Sunday was the annual Rubber Duckie Race here in Crested Butte.
It works like a raffle where you purchase tickets and they race the ducks in the river through town.
I don't know for sure why, but this is one of my favorite things about summer. I love the duckie race.
Brooks is into the Olympics this year so he was excited about the "race" too.
Brooks was in tears when we discovered one of our ducks (we had bought 10) hadn't won. He just knew he was going to win.

What a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon in the mountains!

One very tired little boy! This was about 5:30 when I finally knew I had to wake him. He was out!I couldn't resist the picture of him in his duckie shirt.

Will We Ever?

Will we ever get a picture with all three boys looking? The flowers are beautiful around here now and we have tried so hard to get a pic of all the boys, but someone is always looking away or frowning!

I guess it is maybe time to call in the professionals or I need to learn how to use photo shop so I can photo shop them all together.
