The big boys figured it out

It took Brooks no time to figure out how to get a drink.
Ty was a little more cautious, but he got in on it too

They were so funny playing in the water. Granddad's sprinkler was a different style than ours and they thought that was great!
Once Cooper watched the big boys drink from the sprinkler he knew he could do it too

Why won't this thing work?

While playing in the yard at my grandparents Cooper was tying with all his might to get a drink of water. As you can see he could not figure out how to get the water in his pitcher.he could hear it hitting the bottom, and he thought it was filling up
still no water............."where did it go?"
maybe if I tip it just a little bit more......

UPS Man

The UPS man came to my house today..................just long enough to turn around in my driveway! I was very disappointed because I thought I was getting a package. That ought to be against some sort of UPS law! I'll check with Pat on that.

Cooper loves them too!

Ty and the Sunglasses

Ty loves to wear Brooks' sunglasses. He will wear them awhile and then push them up on his head like I wear mine.
He didn't mean to smile for this picture. He was playing with Granddad and was running towards me--I just happened to get this shot of him looking at the camera.
Most of the time he likes the wear them upside down. He knows how they go, he just likes to do things a little differently in his world

We are going to Oklahoma to visit my grandparents and I will be without a computer for a few days. I will try to get to my uncles house to update when I can. We have some fun pictures of the kids swimming at Reese's party!

Carnival Fun

There was a carnival in Gunnison this week and everyone was very excited! We took the boys on Wednesday evening for something fun and different to do. Ty loved the race cars--he was certain he was going as fast as he had ever gone in his life!Brooks on the giant swing. I missed Evan, and Brooks is on the far left. Mike was certain Brooks would get circle sick on this but then I reminded him only daddy was a wimp on rides.

The Bear Was Back

Mike called me last night to say the bear was back on the porch! We have no pictures as Mike was not at all concerned with pictures for the blog (how dare he not snap a pic)! Dixie did make a fuss this time and then did not want to go out at bedtime. Can you blame her? With the van out of the garage Mike put the trash in so as not to temp the bear further. I can't wait to see it.

Pajama Day

Today was pajama day at Little Red Schoolhouse. Brooks was looking forward to pj day for a full month. (I still don't know for sure why, but we do spend a lot of time in our jammies around here:) He even passed on a trip to Mimi and Papa's so he didn't miss pajama day. When we got to school to pick him up he was glowing, he had won the pajama award. He was about to bust waiting to show me and Evan
Good job Buddy! Way to win the pj award! (and all you had to do was stay in your pj's)

Fun at the Parade

We all really had a lot of fun at the parade. Here they are waiting patiently for it to start.
Ty got off to a slow start--he didn't do well with all the people and crowd. Some quiet time with Papa helpedIt didn't take Cooper long to figure out the candy thing





One group handed out watermelon--Brooks was most pleased
